Welcome to the heartbeat of Integrative Counsel, our blog where tranquility meets transformation. This is your sanctuary for insights and wisdom on nurturing a harmonious connection between mind, body, and spirit.
Can you find quality therapy on a budget in St. Petersburg, FL? .Services like BetterHelp offer affordable options, but often, the quality of care may be compromised. Whether it’s a lack of individualized attention, limitations on the types of therapy offered, or difficulty forming a solid relationship and rapport with your therapist, many people find that low-cost therapy doesn’t meet their needs. On top of that, it can be difficult to find local therapists who accept your insurance, and paying out of pocket can be challenging to fit into your budget.
Finding therapy that we can afford is a challenge, but it really shouldn’t be. That’s why Integrative Counsel is here to match you with a guide who not only fits your budget, but also the journey you’re embarking on.
“Sometimes the poor are praised for being thrifty. But to recommend thrift to the poor is both grotesque and insulting. It is like advising a man who is starving to eat less.” – Oscar Wilde
As patients, we don’t always have a huge say in how expensive our therapy is going to be. Even if we’re insured, setting aside money for whatever our co-pay is can be a financial obstacle when you’re seeking therapy. But we can still get the best value for our therapy by making the most of each session.
Going to a therapist who accepts the insurance you have is a great way to keep the cost of therapy down, but figuring out which therapists are and aren’t covered by your plan can be a huge headache. We’d like to make that easier for you.
Our goal is to make sure that anyone can access the tools of therapy, regardless of their financial situation. One of the ways we do that is by being transparent about which insurances our counselors accepted. At Integrative Counsel, we offer:
For ease of billing, all in-network sessions will be processed through Headway, a platform that streamlines the insurance billing process. Headway works directly with your insurance provider to handle the claims, ensuring that the billing process is seamless and hassle-free for you. This means you won’t have to worry about submitting claims or navigating the complications of the insurance world. Your only task is to focus on your therapy, and we’ll take care of the rest. If you ever have questions about billing or your insurance coverage, Headway’s support team as well as our office manager is available to assist you.
Some services, such as couple’s counseling, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy dosing sessions are not billed to insurance. These services are typically not covered under standard insurance plans, and because of that, we do not process insurance claims for them. Medicare is also not included for insurance billing. If you have any questions about the billing process or coverage options, feel free to reach out to us.
