Welcome to the heartbeat of Integrative Counsel, our blog where tranquility meets transformation. This is your sanctuary for insights and wisdom on nurturing a harmonious connection between mind, body, and spirit.
We’re never done growing, and there’s a wealth of knowledge out there for us to draw from. The process of learning and adding to your toolkit can be a challenge, but it pays dividends in the long run. To aid in your own journey of self-improvement, here are some of our favorite online resources for training your brain.
This series of videos by the brilliant Jennifer H. Carey is designed to help you get in touch with the present moment in the present moment. Although these videos are short, the wisdom within is nothing short of necessary to start to train your brain into appreciating your current surroundings and experiences.
If left unexplored, jealousy can become a great killer of intimacy, growth, and most importantly, happiness. But when given its time in the light, your jealousy can become your greatest teacher. What if you could train your brain to look at the things that make you jealous differently? There’s a great many questions that arise from looking into our own jealousy. What does it mean to be jealous of someone you’re not exclusive with? How can you work through being jealous of someone you love? Why is it that we feel so jealous at times?
So you’ve gone to therapy, worked through your most pressing issues, and you’ve even started to treat yourself with genuine regard! Now what? Jen H. Carey and Dayna Wood have your ticket to the next destination that will definitely train your brain to think differently about yourself and the world around you (in the best way.)
What’s it about? The different modules of this course are designed to help you access your inner wisdom, trust yourself, and grow to understand your authentic Self.
Who’s it for? People who have made great progress but want more, people who want to get in touch with their personal power, and those who are seeking the next step in their growth.
How does it help? Jen and Dayna have tailor-made journal prompts, meditations, creative directives, and videos to help you step into your own power. And if that wasn’t enough, this course gives you access to our online community, where we go live, take questions, and connect with like-minded students of life.
No matter how much we plan or try to get around it, life has a tendency to knock us down. Resilience is the art of getting back on your feet no matter what. We might not be able to control the world around us, but we can control our reaction to it. The best way to train your brain is to start by building up your resilience – you will create new neural pathways in the brain.
How does it help? Developing your resilience can help you cope with anything. At one point in his life, JP was told that he would never walk again. Using the tips and truths he shares in this very course, JP’s resilience was able to help him through this major setback so he could share his wisdom with you.
